Home-schooling, social distancing, and adjusting to new life amid COVID-19 is tough. However, for children with speech-language delays and communication disorders, this time can be especially difficult. During this critical time, we at Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center want to be a resource for your family.
CSHC has pivoted our services to ensure that we continue to serve you, while doing our part to guard patient safety. We are proud to continue providing speech-language services at this time by offering in-clinic speech-language therapy, virtual tele-therapy, parent consults and coaching. To view our safety protocols amid COVID-19, visit our COVID-19 Update page.
Thanks to a grant provided by the COVID-19 Response Fund, a partnership to support Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community members impacted by Coronavirus, we are now able to offer these services to the entire community at no or greatly reduced cost. Our expert SLPs are happy to offer supplemental services to children receiving virtual I.E.P. services or who are unable to access their normal provider. If you are interested in scheduling an in-center or virtual appointment, please fill out the Contact Form at the bottom of this page.
In addition, our team has put together the following list of resources, videos, blogs, and worksheets to assist your family during this time.
