Getting Started is Easy
Choosing a hearing healthcare provider is an important decision. Here is what you need to know:
We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (PPO plans), Medicaid Direct and all Managed Care Medicaid plans (for pediatric patients), including AmeriHealth Caritas, Carolina Complete Health, United Healthcare Community Plan, HealthyBlue, and Wellcare. Most plans cover hearing evaluations, though hearing aid benefits vary.
Even if we do not accept your insurance, our pricing and financial assistance programs often make our care comparable to other providers—and we will help you understand all your options.
We evaluate and treat mild to severe hearing loss, stemming from a variety of medical conditions, and provide individualized solutions, including comprehensive testing, hearing aids, and ongoing support.

Julie Palazzolo, M.A., CCC-A, Senior Clinical Audiologist
Julie Palazzolo received her Master’s degree from Michigan State University and brings more than 30 years of experience to Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center. She has worked with patients of all ages in both private practice and Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) settings and has extensive knowledge of hearing healthcare and hearing aid technology.
Audiologists are university-educated professionals specifically trained to assess, diagnose, and treat hearing loss, using advanced testing and technology to guide your care.

Hearing Aid Fitting, Programming, and Support

Hearing Aid Repairs and Maintenance
We offer in-house repairs and coordinate manufacturer repairs when needed. All hearing aids include at least a one-year warranty, with additional service options available.
